The popularity of The Walking Dead, for example, is almost as contagious as the infection that it portrays. Millions of people tune in on a daily basis to watch Rick, and his group of dwindling survivors, struggle in the face of an impending doom but whenever I watch apocalypse based shows, or play end of the world scenario games, the same question always pops into my head what would I do in that situation?. Would I be a strong leader, like Rick, or would I be dead in the first five minutes? If the zombie apocalypse was to ever rear its bitey, bloody, scratchy, rotting head, it would be a good idea to have a game plan. But creating a game plan is easier said than done, because theres no way of knowing what a zombie apocalypse would actually be like. Thats why I tend to use...

Telltale Games, the studio behind the fantastic The Walking Dead, Back to the Future and Game of Thrones episodic games may be branching out a little further than most game developers. Most of their episodic titles have made their way onto just about every platform able to play them, including Android and iOS devices, but now it looks like the California-based studio could be spreading their reach even further. Over the past few years, the interactive story genre has become a norm in videogames thanks to the work of Telltale Games, with the 2012 classic The Walking Dead considered to be one of their best releases. Subsequent projects have varied in quality since that masterpiece, which has led to a need for more competition within the genre. Following their work on Remember Me, developers Dontnod Entertainment hope to be the answer to this cry in the form of their new game, entitled Life Is Strange. Despite releasing to little media attention or hype, the pilot episode named Chrysalis has managed to blow away any expectations we held for the genre and set up a world we cant wait to continue exploring in future episodes.
